Before attending 40 Years of Zen, I lived in a state of worry, anxiety, foundational beliefs that I am broken and a kind of pessimism or dismal outlook on what's possible and of the future. I tried everything I could find to feel better, affect change, and feel whole.

What made you decide to say yes to the program?

What made me say yes was feeling like better was truly possible. Certainly the cost was a consideration, but it became a manifestation of my commitment to an investment in myself and my future and in all that I love.

What did you appreciate most about the program and the team?

I most appreciated the degree of excellence that I experienced and observed among the team and the facilities, and the quality of the hospitality. I have found the program to be profoundly well considered and well put together. I have a strong sense of the commitment of the people and the team as a whole to help people find the best possibilities for themselves.

How do you feel now that you have completed the week?

After this week at 40 Years of Zen I feel hopeful and I feel calm. I feel a sense of calm, confidence, optimism, curiosity and possibility. I hope this will bring hope in my life going forward.

What is your biggest takeaway from the experience?

The biggest thing that I'm taking with me from the program is the way I feel in my body after this whole week of fantastic food, all the support and all of the neurofeedback work.

Hi, my name is Hope Maltz and before I came to 40 Years of Zen, I tried everything I could find to feel better, affect change, feel whole and after this week at 40 Years of Zen I feel hopeful and I feel calm. I highly recommend 40 Years of Zen because everybody should have a chance to experience what they're doing here. Before attending 40 Years of Zen I lived in a state of worry, anxiety, foundational beliefs that I am broken and a kind of pessimism or dismal outlook on what's possible and of the future. What made me say yes to 40 Years of Zen was feeling like better was truly possible and certainly the cost was a consideration but it became a manifestation of my commitment to like of an investment in myself and my future and in all that I love. I'm most appreciated about the program, the degree of excellence that I experienced and observed among the team in the facilities, the quality of the hospitality. Of course, these are all sort of peripheral supports to the experience but I have found the program to be profoundly well considered, well put together. I have a strong sense of the commitment of the people and the team as a whole, the organization to help people find the best possibilities for themselves and their lives. I'm excited about coming back at one more and having just come through the program I feel a sense of calm, confidence, optimism, curiosity and possibility.
