The interview

What is the biggest benefit you've received from working with the execute system?

The biggest benefit is clarity of where your time is going so that you can very clearly, at a glance, understand what you need to do more of, what you need to do less of, and optimize your time without having to do some really in-depth analysis or try to think or remember or use how you feel about what you're doing.

What was your situation like before you started looking for a new way to organize your business?

When I first started looking, I was looking at the way that I was organizing my day to day. It just kind of felt like no matter what I did, I was over-committing to things and just not getting all the things that I wanted to get done.

What were your concerns about other productivity solutions on the market?

It felt like a lot of the solutions for that were very heavy—meant that the amount of effort that you put into trying to even organize how you go through and estimate how long it would take you to do things was almost just more trouble than it's worth.

What surprised you the most about working with Spencer and the system?

I would say what surprised me the most is just how simple it is at the end of the day. I can go back and I can see what I did on any day, really just taking the principles of accounting and applying it to how you actually plan your day and how you account for your time.

How has this impacted your personal life and productivity?

It just felt very empowering to just freely live my life and still feel like I'm being very productive and still having plenty of fun downtime.

What specific financial results have you seen since implementing the system?

The revenue this year and profit as opposed to the previous year, I mean, it's probably 2-3X what it was before, simply because I was able to focus on the highest-leverage activities, and really make sure my time was being put towards those and that I didn't overcommit myself to a bunch of different projects.

What has your experience been like working with Spencer Burnett personally?

My overall experience working with Spencer has been really great because he's very flexible and he is able to really meet you where you're at—judgment free. He helps tailor and on-ramp to get you really up to your potential of what's possible for you.

How do you feel about your business potential for the coming year?

I feel like what I can accomplish in this next year is significantly greater than I would have achieved before, certainly because now I feel there's a lot more of a methodical approach as opposed to maybe a brute force method for going after it.

Josh (00:00) the biggest benefit I've got from working with the execute system is just clarity of where your time is going so that you can just very clearly, at a glance, understand what you need to do more of, what you need to do less of, and optimize your time without having to do some really in-depth analysis or try to think or remember or use how you feel about what you're doing as opposed to the other way around. So I'd say that's probably the number one benefit. Hey, my name is Josh Harris. I live in St. Petersburg, Florida, and I'm an AI automation consultant. when I first started looking for a different way to organize how we did things, you know, I'd spoken with Spencer and I was just looking at the way that I was organizing my day to day. And it just kind of felt like no matter what I did, I was over-committing to things and just not getting all the things that I wanted to get done. it felt like a lot of the solutions for that were very heavy - meant that the amount of effort that you put into trying to even organize how you go through and estimate how long it would take you to do things was almost just more trouble than it's worth. I would say what surprised me the most is just how simple it is at the end of the day. i can go back and I can see what I did on any day, really just taking the principles of accounting and applying it to how you actually plan your day and how you account for your it just felt very empowering to just freely live my life and still feel like I'm being very productive and still having plenty of fun downtime. the revenue this year and profit as opposed to the previous year, I mean, it's probably 2 3X what it was before, simply because I was able to focus on the highest-leverage activities, and really make sure my time was being put towards those and that I didn't overcommit myself to a bunch of different projects. My overall experience working with Spencer has been really great because he's very flexible and he is able to really meet you where you're at - judgment free. like, wherever you're at, and just helping tailor and on-ramp to get you really up to your potential of what's possible for you. And so for me, I feel like what I can... accomplish in this next year is significantly greater than I would have achieved before. certainly because now I feel there's a lot more of a methodical approach as opposed to maybe a brute force method for going after it. it doesn't matter whether you're absolutely starting out or you're the richest man in the world, you all have 24 hours in a day. That is your most valuable resource. If you're not deploying that time properly, you're going to cap yourself out. There's no such thing as passive income. There's only high-leverage income. And so what this will do is it'll help you leverage your time so you can leverage your income in the most impactful ways in your business. But more importantly, feel like you actually can get some of your personal life back and not feel guilty about, you know, incorporating those things into your life because you'll be able to see the progress you're making and really hold yourself accountable. You know, it goes back to that old saying, you know, "what gets measured gets managed." And if you're not measuring your time and where it's going, then there's no way for you really improve that. and so... Spencer is the only one in the market I know that's attacked this obvious thing that everyone knows about, but no one seems to really have a lightweight solution for. It's just a no-brainer.
