The interview

Can you introduce yourself and your business?

I'm Clay Womack, live here in Austin, the CEO of ATX Hyperbarics. We have three mid pressure hyperbaric clinics here in the Austin market. We also service with lifebeds, and then I sell and install hyperbaric chambers for clinics and high-net-worth individuals.

What is the primary benefit of attending the Business of Biohacking?

Number one, the networking. You're in here with like-minds who are all, you know, minds full of mush. We're wanting to get fed on the ideas of how to scale our business or how to make strategic connections with one another.

What defines the people who participate in this movement?

The type of people that are here, their hearts are in this business, it's just not a commercial application. The biohacking movement is full of people who are really moved from a spiritual place or from a heartfelt place and wanting relatives, loved ones, and everyone to get healthier and live longer.

How would you describe the environment Dave Asprey has curated?

This community that Dave is curating is of entrepreneurs who can, you know, iron sharpens iron. We get together, we talk, and we share ideas. We criticize each other with nothing negative about it. It's a learning environment.

Which speakers stood out to you during the event?

He brought some great people here to speak to us. I was particularly fond of Jay Abrams because I've been a follower here since I was in college so it's a really good environment for groups to leverage and multiply that power of connection.

Who should attend this event and why?

Budding entrepreneurs or even skilled entrepreneurs should come to the Business of Biohacking event if you're in that space, because it is pretty narrow on health and biohacking, but biohacking has a reach beyond that and if you can learn this industry, you can scale your company outside of the industry and into the health and wellness side.
