The interview

What was the situation you were facing when you started working with Dan and Shannon?

About nine months ago, I was going through a divorce and knew that there was a lot of emotional trauma that needed to be dealt with. And quite frankly, I didn't have time to deal with it, but I wanted the peace and I wanted the tools to be able to deal with everything that was coming up.

What made you decide to say yes to their program?

What made me say yes to Dan and Shannon is that I got clearer understanding that not only was I going to get some relief from what I was going through emotionally, but that I had tools that I would learn in that program to then be able to utilize ongoing with other things that came up, because there is always other things that come up.

Did you have any hesitations or concerns before getting started?

What always prevented me from getting started with Dan and Shannon is that I was concerned that I was maybe a little too woo woo and might go against some of my religious beliefs. This was tricky because I had worked with other practitioners before that kind of not felt super comfortable, but when I took that leap, I was so glad that I did because I was held in a safe, loving space.

What surprised you most about the process?

What surprised me the most about Dan and Shannon's process is that I could do it as quickly and in as many weird places as I do now. I can do it on the phone with somebody and it's just so simple and easy.

What specific shifts or results did you experience?

The shifts that occurred while working with Dan and Shannon were very profound. I found a sense of calm and peace. And just much more confidence, knowing that I had tools to deal with things as they came up. I am now a different place where I can process things in the moment when I'm connecting with other people in a whole different way.

How has this impacted your relationships and daily life?

If I'm in a conversation, someone hurts my feelings, I'm able to calmly articulate what's going on and what I need without having to have this whole internal explosion and acting ways that I know are not going to be helpful to the relationship.

According to Katrina Foe, the program provides invaluable skills that serve you for the rest of your life, allowing you to process new issues as they arise rather than having internal explosions.
