The interview

What was your life like prior to meeting Dr. Tyler Panzner?

I spent a lot of time going down self-help rabbit holes on Instagram and YouTube. As I started to age, I felt the weight of the world on my shoulders and started getting intense seasonal allergies. I went to doctors who told me to take Benadryl for three months, but that wasn't working and made me feel bad. I was wondering if I was just going to live like this forever.

What were your initial thoughts when you first spoke to him?

When I first spoke to him, I was super skeptical. I've been through a series of different doctors that couldn't really help out with what I had going on. But the way he spoke about the approach to physical and mental health issues really resounded with me.

What stood out about Dr. Panzner's methods?

His efforts are not to suppress what you have going on, but to allow your body to work with itself. He's one of the few people I've seen talk about how supplements can interact with each other and your specific genetic makeup. That was pretty unique and really stood out.

Can you describe your 'aha moment' during the program?

My a-ha moment was when he put me on lithium orotate and described how the MTHFR and COMT genes can manipulate how you process things. I was getting high blood pressure readings from being super anxious. Once I started taking the lithium orotate, within 20 minutes I felt so much calmer and had a lot less buzzing in my head. I tend to ruminate and loop quite a bit, and that has been the best benefit.

How has your perspective changed after working with him?

It supported my belief that taking supplements that work with your genetic makeup is a huge help. It's been great to have Dr. Tyler Panzner take on that responsibility for me and look into how all these things interact.

What is your life like now after a year in the program?

I've noticed a huge improvement in my allergies and my mental health is better than it's ever been. I can remember things a lot more easily, like people's names and things I've done. My mind is a lot clearer these days.

Why would you recommend this program to others?

I already have recommended it to my siblings because they struggle with their own mental health. I think this is one of those missing pieces of the puzzle. A lot of mental health issues come from your genetic makeup and nutrient levels; when you're low in something, it manifests in physical and mental issues.

Frequently asked

Is Dr. Tyler Panzner's genetic coaching effective if other doctors failed?

Cris Henriquez was initially skeptical after seeing a series of doctors who only suggested suppressing symptoms with Benadryl. He found Dr. Panzner's approach unique because it focused on how supplements interact with specific genetic makeup to help the body work with itself.

How fast can you see results with Dr. Tyler Panzner?

While long-term results took a year, Cris Henriquez experienced an 'aha moment' within 20 minutes of taking a recommended supplement, noting he felt significantly calmer and had less 'buzzing' in his head.

Can genetic testing help with mental health issues like rumination?

Yes, Cris Henriquez found that addressing his MTHFR and COMT genes helped stop his tendency to ruminate and loop thoughts, which he considers the best benefit of the entire program.
