The interview
How would you describe your overall experience and future plans with Geobear?
We'll be using you moving forward 100%. It was very straightforward. It was the price was a lot cheaper than we previously have used just for your standard underpinning and the process was a lot cleaner as you know, it's less intrusive because just drill it well injecting kind of 2-3 meters down without taking up the foundations or whatever.
Who are you and what was the nature of this project?
I'm Alex Goble. I live in Clapham. We do a project with Geobear. We're residential developers, we brought a project and we knew the front bay was shot and traditionally we've also always used a kind of traditional underpinning process and then I actually got recommended through another builder to use you guys.
Why was it important to get this specific repair done?
The front bay was shot. So we needed to get that underpin because we're selling it, so we need the structurally sound to ensure that we can sell the property.
What was the timeline of the treatment on-site?
When the treatment occurred I met them on site and it took, I think I got a call, I met them on-site at about eight o'clock. I think he got called back about 11, said, 'We're all done.' So, a bit surprised by that.
Were there any unexpected tasks the team handled during the process?
Luckily, we didn't have to do too much. We lifted the floors and we already had the floors lifted and I think we were meant to sort out the concrete bit. We never got around to doing it but you guys kindly sorted out. Got it done and still within two hours which I was pleasantly surprised by.
Have you recommended Geobear to others in your industry?
I've, I've already recommended them to another different developers and I believe they may have got a contact.
