The interview

When did you know the Institute of Restorative Health was the right choice?

I knew it was the right choice for me when I was able to sign on multiple clients during the program. It just drastically increased my confidence in so many ways that I can't imagine not having done it.

What was your professional background and challenge before joining?

I am a Nutritional Therapy practitioner, founder of Rose Nutrition and Wellness, and a registered nurse. Before the program, I was looking for more answers and guidelines to get actual resolutions for my clients. I felt I couldn't truly help them without the data and framework behind functional lab testing.

How did the Gastrointestinal Healing program change your approach?

It really taught me something I didn't understand in depth in nursing school, like how digestion impacts every other system in the body and how you can fix it with natural tools and clinical reasoning. I feel more like a true practitioner and not just a coach; I can explain things at a deeper level.

What specific results have your clients seen since you implemented these tools?

I was able to sign on multiple clients within the few short months since I finished the program, and they've already seen wonderful results. I had a client with years of constipation, fatigue, and anxiety who had tried magnesium, fiber, and Miralax with no success. Using what I learned, I built a protocol of digestive supports, antimicrobials, and gut-healing nutrients, and within 3 or 4 weeks, she was having consistent daily bowel movements for the first time in years.

What is your plan for future education with the Institute?

After the Gastrointestinal Healing program, I quickly realized within a few weeks the impact of the course, and I was already planning on signing up for the next one because I realized the value.

Frequently asked

Is this just another health coaching course with no new information?

MaryRose Kingston initially thought she was signing up for 'just another course' to gain confidence, but found it provided deep clinical reasoning and protocols that went beyond what she learned in nursing school.

Mary Rose Kingston (00:00) I knew the Institute of Restorative Health was the right choice for me when I was able to sign on multiple clients during the program. It just drastically increased my confidence in so many ways that I can't imagine not having done it. Hi, I'm MaryRose Kingston. I am from Texas, originally from New York, and I am a Nutritional Therapy practitioner, and founder of Rose Nutrition and Wellness - and I'm also a registered nurse. Before the Institute of Restorative Health, I was looking to find more answers for my clients, and have more guidelines, to get actual resolutions. I felt that I was not able to really, truly help them without having the data, and the framework behind functional lab testing. I thought I was just signing up for another course because in this field a lot of people just tend to sign up for course after course to gain their confidence. But what I really got was not only the heart and the passion, but the confidence. I feel more like a true practitioner and not just a coach. I can explain things at a deeper level, and I have the protocols and the critical thinking behind it to, uh, really make a difference in my client's life. Since completing the Gastrointestinal Healing program, it has drastically changed the way that I approach my client work. For the digestion component, it really taught me something I didn't really understand in depth in nursing school, like, actually how digestion impacts every other system in the body, and how you can fix it with natural tools, and the clinical reasoning that they taught us in the program. And it really just reconnected me with why I got into this space in the first place. Since attending the program, it gave me the tools to stop guessing, and actually understand what my clients needed. I was able to sign on multiple clients within the few short months since I finished the program. And they've already seen wonderful results. I had a client who had come in with years of constipation, fatigue, anxiety, and she had tried a bunch of different supplements - magnesium, fiber, various elimination diets - even Miralax. But nothing really made a difference. She had been to multiple doctors, and wasn't really finding a solution to her constipation primarily. There was bacterial overgrowth, low stomach acid, and signs of, like, sluggish digestion. So using what I learned in the course, I built a protocol that focused on digestive supports, various antimicrobials, and gut-healing nutrients. And within, like, 3 or 4 weeks, she was having consistent daily bowel movements for the first time in years. Just feeling like herself again, I think that was one of the best outcomes of the protocol. So that specific client just really got me started off on the right After the Gastrointestinal Healing program, I quickly realized within a few weeks about the impact of the course, and I was already planning on signing up for the next one because I realized the value.
