The interview
What is your role and the name of your business?
Hi, I'm Margaret Floyd Barry and I'm the owner and executive director of Restorative Wellness Solutions.
Why did you decide to attend the event this year despite your injury?
I'm here on crutches—injured my knee a week and a half ago, and pretty much, any other event I would have canceled but this event is just far too important. The opportunity to support this community of outstanding practitioners and help them take things to the next level is just something that I would never pass up.
How has the Mindshare team supported you during the event?
They've been absolutely outstanding, so helpful. Given this sort of extenuating circumstances, they've made sure that I've had rides everywhere I need it, they have just fallen over themselves to make sure that I'm well taken care of so that I can get on that stage and deliver what I need to deliver.
How long have you been involved with this community and what impact has it had?
I've been now in this community for eight years and 100%, there's no way that I would have been able to achieve what I've done in my business without this community and without the exposure and the support of folks in this community.
Who should consider joining or attending Mindshare?
If you are in the functional health space in any capacity whether you're a practitioner, you've got product, you support these incredible practitioners, you absolutely need to be here.
How do you prioritize this event in your annual schedule?
There's really no other event that I book in my calendar a year in advance, every single year. I have not missed an event for eight years. It is 100% worth every penny of investment in time, energy, effort to get here and to connect with your people and elevate this community.
