The interview

Why do you keep coming back to Mindshare events?

I keep coming back because in the world of being an entrepreneur you get sidetracked a lot. So, you find yourself with ideas and then dropping the ball on them and forgetting your full vision. Every year I come back I'm reminded: this is your vision, these are your people, this is where you need to go, don't get sidetracked.

What is the value of the Mindshare community compared to other programs?

It's a great opportunity to learn what other people are doing. And I think some of the best examples of what to do are by learning from others. It's a community. So many people can tell you what to do but when they've actually done it, it makes a huge difference.

What specific business areas do you focus on during the Summit?

I learn so much at every single Summit and I think looking at the different arms of my business like supplements versus consults versus speaking versus, you know, all of the different arms of income that are available. To be able to just get little tidbits on each and then make a plan for what am I going to do going home.

What is your primary goal for this year's event?

This year, for example, I really need to grow my supplement store. So, I'm heading into one here soon on ecommerce and growing it and scaling it just to kind of, hone in and really look at 'Am I doing everything I can do or do I need to do more?'

What would you say to someone considering attending the Mindshare Summit?

Oh, you have to attend the Mindshare Summit. And it's because not only is it full of the most amazing people but it's fun, it's welcoming, everyone is talking to everyone, you're never alone here. And the skills that you will pick up just from three days is incredible.
