The interview

What is your name, location, and profession?

My name is Carrie Lamitie. I live in Boulder, Colorado and I am an attorney.

What is your perspective on the health information shared this weekend?

Everything that they've been talking about this weekend... people don't have the information they need to keep themselves healthy. And I think people genuinely care and want that. It just not really out there in the world, how these things impact our long-term health.

What change would you like to see in the health industry?

The biggest thing I'd like to see change is, much more proactive information, much more widely disseminated.

What were your main takeaways from the event speakers and attendees?

First of all I've learned a lot 'cause they had incredibly brilliant geniuses out there. Really spectacular speakers and just felt like you were in the presence of visionaries which was really awesome. Also all the people who came. Somehow they attracted a really beautiful community of people and I've - without exception, just delighted in meeting everybody.

What was the biggest surprise for you during the event?

The biggest surprise for me was I came, kind of, as a client. Just to sort of learn more and I certainly did learn more and I got lots of benefit that way. but the biggest takeaway is that really, everything they're talking about is relevant regardless of your profession.

How did the event impact you professionally?

I took about 800 notes of things that would inform my professional practice. I just think anyone would benefit because, it's like I said, the core of what they're... not only teaching but kind of inspiring into you.
