The interview
What challenge was Docupace facing before implementing Quik!?
Our new account opening experience really needed a robust forms library to be paired with it. We almost didn't use Quik! because we sort of came up with the mistaken view that somehow managing all of these forms and all the data fields was easier than it was.
What were the primary results of implementing Quik!?
What we ended up getting not only was a robust forms library that came with the most comprehensive set of data fields available in the industry, but we also got a real strong business relationship that's allowed us to grow over the years. We had a real chance to fully digitize and automate the back offices of enterprise wealth management firms.
How does Quik! impact your clients today?
Today, Docupace helps clients around the US create seamless operations experiences. As part of that, they're opening millions of new accounts each year using the Docupace platform. Without Quik! being embedded inside Docupace, there's no way Docupace could really do the job it does for the industry.
When did you know Quik! was the right solution for your company?
I knew Quik! was right for Docupace when we saw the comprehensive nature of the document library, along with all of the fields that were available for us to populate. That was a game changer for Docupace.
How would you describe the partnership and customer service experience?
The thing that we thought we were buying was a forms library; the thing that we got is a real robust partnership with Rich, Don and all of the team at Quik!. The customer service experience at Quik! is exceptional. Our support teams work very closely with the team at Quik! and the turnaround times are excellent.
Frequently asked
Is it easier to build and manage a forms library internally than using Quik!?
David Knoch admitted Docupace initially had the mistaken view that managing forms and data fields was easier than it actually is. After implementing Quik!, he realized that managing the library is a 'giant task' that Quik! handles more effectively than an in-house solution.
