The interview
Who are you and what is your role at Premier Research Labs?
My name is Nick Labinsky. I'm the chief executive officer of Premier Research Labs in Austin, Texas. We've been in business for over 35 years, manufacturing dietary supplements for the health professional market, such as chiropractors, medical doctors, and naturopaths.
Why is social proof important in the dietary supplement industry?
It's very important to have social proof because there's so many different companies out there. There's a lot of saturation in the market and a lot of fly by night companies, ones that literally are just there to make a dollar. That's not who we are. And we want to show that through the experiences these practitioners have.
How does Share One help you communicate your brand's mission?
Share One has been a premier partner and has enabled us to do something we've never been able to do before by actually embodying our values and helping us build the community that Dr. Marshall started 35 years ago. We are here about transforming global wellness through extraordinary nutrition innovation and Share One is enabling that community to be built by sharing those stories.
How are you technically implementing Share One on your website?
There's a little catch widget we've been really using for people to see it right when they go to the website. If you go to our home page, you'll see a little box at the bottom of the page with a little person. It's not something you normally see, so people will be interested and want to see what that is.
What impact has the Share One widget had on your customer journey?
It's a great place for the homepage, especially where a high bounce rate is going to be. We are using that to basically engage that practitioner or that other B2B customer to ensure that they continue down the journey to understand and learn more about us. It's a great tool.
What is the ultimate value of these practitioner stories for your business?
Proof's in the pudding. You can say I have good quality, but many companies are just an act. You can see the quality with the actual stories that are told. I encourage anybody to go to our website, take a look at that story, and hear some of the amazing things that have happened using our supplements. If you really have the passion to change somebody's life, use these stories to enable that.
