My name is Michael Lovitch. I kind of helped start this thing. The idea 16 years ago was that what's internet marketing is people who generally don't have, like, a lot of resources. It's a place where people with really nothing can actually make an income and change shit so the whole idea behind the party was people who've been there, people, new people, could all get together, learn from each other without all the egos, didn't cost a lot, and actually, like, figure shit out, make friendships because back then, especially even now, it's full of minefields and like, a lot of con artists. It's a place where you could actually be safe and maybe figure out how to market online and make a living for yourself or have a good idea and make it happen. A community that just does it for each other without all the bullshit. If you're brand new and you're curious, it's actually a place that you can come with ideas and not look stupid, nobody cares, where people who've been there will actually help you because they've been there, and if you've done really well, you're also going to find people who've done really well and you can go pretty advanced and find shit out. You're probably not going to find out on social media because you're going to have some viewers in you and people are going to be honest, so high level people get a lot out of it and, like, brand new people get a lot out of it, which makes it kind of cool. I don't like missing the I.M. party because, like, over the years, it is kind of some of my best friends, so I would'nt miss it because of community. It's actually like people you want to come back and meet more and more. and over time it becomes a place where it's like, "Cheers." You're actually comfortable at home, you're with people, a lot of people. This life's kind of lonely if people actually get shit and appreciate you and you appreciate them. It's a real, it's a real community. It's really fun.
