The interview

How has the program affected your property research process?

It's reduced the research substantially by 90, 95%. You still have to do your due diligence and everything. But they have the program set up where it's just one-click button to be able to go and find all of these. We could research a piece of property in 45 minutes and we're done. Whereas before, if I didn't have United Tax Lien, it was weeks worth of research.

What is your background and why did you join the program?

My name is Bud Patterson. I'm from Stillwater, Oklahoma, and I am currently the owner of a campground RV park. The reason we joined United Tax Liens is I have a 19-year-old daughter, and I wanted to build a legacy and teach her on business so she's able to take care of the business as I grow older.

Did you have any hesitations before joining?

One of the setbacks, to be honest, was the cost of it. We did not commit until we actually went to the expo to kinda see what this is—cause that's a big chunk. And then once we saw, you know, like any good product you gotta pay for it. But so far we have been very pleased with what we have received for our investment.

What was your experience like at the Dallas expo?

I got to meet Tony, who was the emcee. And then I met a lot of the coaches like Stephanie, and the two brothers, and David from Dallas. Visiting with everybody, and then have them get up, give their testimony, show how it is, actually show proof on screen of 'here's the kind of money you can do.' Having a step-by-step instruction of how to go about doing that, and having your coaches or your hotline people on call 24 hours a day actually helped quite a bit.

What specific results have you seen from the coaching?

We got Stephanie, who is phenomenal. And she took us to the finish line on several things. I think we did 5, 6, 7 properties. We've redeemed 4 of those, flipped 2, and 1 is still on the market. Within 15 to 20 days of that expo, we bought like 3 of them and then we just continued getting more.

What advice would you give to someone considering this program?

I would say to them, you know, you gotta have money to make money in this situation. Bear down, get the funds to do it, and then go forward on that. If they have the ability of waiting 6 months for a return, then I'd say all for it. But if they're in it to 'get quick rich' scheme then it's not for you guys. It takes time, investment, knowledge, and perseverance.

Frequently asked

Is the cost of Tax Lien Wealth Builders worth the investment?

Bud Patterson admitted the initial cost was a 'big chunk' and a primary setback. However, after attending the Dallas expo and seeing the proof of potential earnings, he stated he has been very pleased with the value received for his investment.
