Retired Teacher Finds Relief from Chronic Neck and Back Pain in Two Months

Speaker 0: Okay. K. Now? Okay. I'm Jeannie Hewam, and I live in Texas. And I am a retired school teacher. I taught for about forty years and then retired. My main concern or or issue whenever I decided to go to doctor Aaron West was my neck. My neck and my back were really in not good shape. After all those years of standing, I was the school teacher that wanted to be, you know, really dressed correctly, what I thought for school teachers, so I had a lot of time in high heels. And I think that plus the neck thing, it really bothered me a lot. And so I decided to go to visit him. I'd heard great things about, what he was doing and how people had really had had a had a good experience with him. I had a lot of issues, with the pain. I love to do gardening right now, and I could garden maybe twenty, thirty minutes and my neck would start hurting or my back would start hurting. And so it cut into all of the things that I really wanted to do. I had well, we have nine grandchildren, and every so often, you know, we get maybe two or three at the same time, and that's really great. But the back issue and the neck issue was keeping me from doing things with my grandkids, and I was sad. So I decided, you know what? I'm not gonna be sad anymore. I'm just gonna go get help. And he he was my help. Okay. I had, lots of experiences in the past with other chiropractic, agencies, and there were always a lot of questions that didn't get answered. And what I love about, doctor Aaron is he will sit with you and explain everything that he's going to do and what he wants the results to be. And, that was delightful because being a school teacher, you know, you need to dot those i's, cross those t's. And so I wanted very much to have somebody who would explain what was going on and if he had the instruments or the know how to, really help me out. And so any piece of equipment that we used or anytime he gave me he'd give me a lot of help. He had me sign up for a program where I can do neck exercises. And that way I can come home and and still work on getting my neck and my back in the right condition, and he did a marvelous job. I love the way they supported me. Even his staff. It didn't matter. Who if it was the person you were checking in with or checking out with, they were always very concerned, not just about, you know, my back or my neck. They wanted to know how I was. Always offered and said, you know, is there anything else we can do for you? They were just very understanding. If if I ran into position where I couldn't get there on time, I would call, and they were just still delightful. They they didn't get upset. You know, some some facilities, they'll get really upset if that happens, but they're just so kind. And they they want to know you as a person, not just as a patient. Yes. There were several hurdles I had to go over before I consented to, yes, we're going to do this. I had been to a neurosurgeon, and, their you know, they did all kinds of tests and things, and they knew that the neck had an issue and the back had an issue. And, their only resource was to do surgery. And so I had had back surgery a few years before we moved here to the really North part of Texas, and they were the bed the surgeries were okay. They did give me some relief, but no one had an answer for what was going on with my neck. And so it was delightful that that, you know, whenever I went to see him, he immediately had a solution for me. My life since I've been going to see them is great. I don't have any neck issues anymore. I don't wake up with my neck hurting. I don't go to bed with my neck hurting. My back was a little bit different. It took a little bit longer to get it kind of in in where it needed to be, but I'm I think the exercises and then the treatment that he gave was just perfect. And so now I can play with my grandkids. You know, I don't have to say, nope. I I can't go walking with you. Yep. I'm ready to go. Let me get my shoes on. And that was really encouraging, and I was so thankful for that. I expected that what he said would happen would happen. The fact that it happened more quickly than I anticipated was great because I thought, boy, this is gonna go on forever, I'm sure, because it is a slower process. You know? I mean, if you go in and have surgery, you're going to have surgical pain for a while, but then usually my experience has been the pain goes away. I had to have a a knee replaced. I used to ride horses a lot, and I took a nosedive off of a horse and landed on my left knee. And so it was really in bad shape, but I had so the surgery, you know, was painful, but now I have a perfect knee. It just never ever hurts. So that to me was I had anticipated that that was the treatment that doctor Aaron would do would be longer, you know, because you're doing it in smaller steps. But it didn't take as long. It took and instead of taking, like, a year, it took about two months is all it took before I really started getting great relief. And then from then on, it's just been great. I'm sorry. I didn't really I know I couldn't quite hear you. Oh, I have referred doctor Aaron to my sister, my daughter, anybody that that has a problem, I say, I've I've got a doctor for you. You need to go see doctor Erin West, and you will be happy with the results. And everybody that our church secretary, I sent her there. Just, you know, even strangers that are saying, oh, my back is killing me today. And I'll say, I've got somebody that can really help you. You know? And they always come back and say, you're right. That I can't believe how much better I felt since I took his treatments. And so I just I I I feel like I could be his advertiser every day, I told him, because anybody that I see that I'm concerned and watching them, it it seems to help. You know? They've never no one has ever come back and said, oh, it didn't do any good. You know? And I have a lot of friends who've had surgeries. And even after the surgery, they go, well, I I don't get it. I hadn't had any relief at all with my back surgery, and that makes me really sad. So the fact that, you know, I know somebody that can really help them, that's that's great for for for me to be able to say I can recommend somebody for you. Yes. Absolutely. Okay.
