The interview
What was your primary intention for coming to 40 Years of Zen?
One of my intentions coming into 40 Years of Zen was to cleanse my mind, cleanse it from all the distractions, all the things that I had been thinking about that may have been got caught or stuck in, and to just wash it all away.
Did the program meet those expectations for you?
Going through this program, it did exactly that. I have a renewed sense of I guess more of like you want to say is like more of a connection to my attention. So more connection to where I'll focus my energy, owning my own energy.
How do you feel about your ability to focus after the experience?
It's mine, and I was able to, through the cleansing, come back to myself and be inspired by owning my own attention, and it's fine.
What are you most excited about moving forward?
I'm most excited about the magical involvement of life. This experience, I could see the connection between cause and effect of everything that I put energy forth into, all the effort that I put out, and how it is all coming together.
How would you describe the environment and the staff?
Being here in this gorgeous home that looks like a little hobbit house with beautiful people who are so thoughtful and so caring and so intuiting the things that I would need and the supports that my brain needs to feel most at ease and at most peace in the world.
Who would you recommend this program to?
I would recommend 40 Years of Zen to everybody. Come, come to 40 Years of Zen. Highly, highly, highly recommend. Come, come, come.
What did you envision during your sessions in the pod?
As I was sitting in the pod doing the session, I envisioned how that we would all move to, there would be a, like, a higher level of consciousness out in the world, that if everybody could just have the cleansing of the debris, of the woundings, of the pain of the world and come and have a renewed sense of well being.
