Six months ago I was having some health issues related to a dysregulated nervous system and I was facing some challenges in my personal life and feeling really stuck professionally. I had a pretty reactive nervous system, and I was feeling stuck in some areas in my life.

What made you decide to say yes to the program?

What made me say yes to 40 Years of Zen was my spirit of inquiry and a sense of knowing that I'm not fully living into my potential as a human.

Did you have any hesitations before joining?

If I had a hesitation coming into 40 Years of Zen, it was around coming from a lot of work in ancient traditions, ancient wisdom and not being sure how technology fits into that, so it wasn't quite sure of coming into something that feels like it's biohacking or a shortcut towards something like meditation.

What did you appreciate most about the program?

What made me appreciate the program the most would be the integration of technology with ancient traditions and the deep dive into personal work.

Having gone through this program, what shifted the most for me internally is a deep sense of well being and connectedness. I have felt a lot of release around the things that felt like they were holding me back and have a clear vision of how to show up going forward.

Hi, my name is Kate. I'm shooting this video because six months ago I was having some health issues related to a dysregulated nervous system and I was facing some challenges in my personal life and feeling really stuck professionally. After being here at 40 Years of Zen, I have felt a lot of release around the things that felt like they were holding me back and have a clear vision of how to, to show up going forward in a way that I can more fully embody the passions that I have and what I want to bring to the world. Before attending 40 Years of Zen, my life was happy. I had a pretty reactive nervous system, and I was feeling stuck in some areas in my life. What made me say yes to 40 Years of Zen was my spirit of inquiry and a sense of knowing that I'm not fully living into my potential as a human. So if I had a hesitation coming into 40 Years of Zen, it was around coming from a lot of work in ancient traditions, ancient wisdom and not being sure how technology fits into that, so it wasn't quite sure of coming into something that feels like it's biohacking or a shortcut towards something like meditation just an important tradition.
