The interview

Who are you and where do you practice?

Hi, I'm Crystal Amundsen. I am in Fargo, North Dakota, and I work here at Everest Regenerative Medicine.

How do you utilize Dr. PRP in your clinic?

Here at Everest Regenerative Medicine, we use Dr. PRP both for sports medicine, orthopedic situations, as well as for facial rejuvenation, hair PRP restoration, and also for use with microneedling techniques as well.

What do you like most about providing PRP therapy?

I really love providing PRP therapy here at clinic because it is super safe, it is your own body's natural platelets and growth factors. It is very natural as well as, again, you're just providing like a boost from your own body in a super localized area. And then it gives these phenomenal results as well, in not super quick, but in a really nice timeline.

What was your main hesitation before choosing Dr. PRP?

The number one reason we at Everest Regenerative Medicine almost didn't go with [Dr. PRP] is probably some of the skepticism in a lot of other competitors noticing, having all these other white papers and having a lot of their results out there as well.

What ultimately made you decide to switch to Dr. PRP?

What made us say yes to doctor PRP here in Fargo, North Dakota was that it is very easy to use. I can also tell that we are getting quality platelets just because of how the design of the tubes worked. This funneling factor, to me, makes a lot of conceptual sense. And then the cost was actually lower than the other brand that we were using at the time.

How did the results compare to your previous PRP system?

We still had a few of the other ones left. And then we started using Dr. PRP and we could totally tell the significant difference in results in our Dr. PRP samples compared to our other brand samples.

What has surprised you most about working with the company?

What has surprised me the most about Dr. PRP was the amazing training that we've gotten so far. Our rep is phenomenal and I have feel so supported throughout this whole journey. It has been extremely easy to use and also extremely easy to pick up.

Can you share a specific patient success story?

One of my patients here, who's about 60 years old, has had a phenomenal facial rejuvenation journey. She has noticed just by using PRP in the last six months, better skin tone, less pigmentation, smoother skin and then the biggest thing is those lines and wrinkles and also firming up some sagging areas. She's a patient who has done all the things—peels, microneedling, botox, filler—and the thing that has really changed for her is the PRP facial rejuvenation.

Why should other clinics consider adding PRP therapy?

I believe that other clinics should add PRP therapy to their practice because it can help aid in whatever orthopedic or aesthetic or even just medical conditions to their repertoire. It can improve a patient outcome 50% to 80%. I believe that it can give clinics another profit revenue as well as being able to combine it with their other procedures.

Frequently asked

Why would a clinic choose Dr. PRP over competitors with more white papers?

Crystal Amundsen initially felt skepticism due to competitors having more published white papers. However, she chose Dr. PRP because the tube design made conceptual sense for funneling quality platelets, the cost was lower, and the clinical results were significantly better than their previous brand.

How does Dr. PRP impact aesthetic treatment results?

Amundson observed that a 60-year-old patient saw phenomenal improvements in skin tone, pigmentation, and wrinkles over six months. Even though the patient had tried peels, Botox, and fillers, the Dr. PRP facial rejuvenation was the treatment that truly changed her results.

Is Dr. PRP easy for clinical staff to learn and use?

Yes, Amundson describes the system as extremely easy to use and pick up. She highlights the phenomenal training and support provided by their representative as a key factor in their successful implementation.

It has been extremely easy to use and also extremely easy to pick up. The other thing is the fantastic results. It has blown me away and just very, very happy with the results that we have been able to give our patients thus far while using Dr. PRP. If you are sitting on the fence about whether to use Dr. PRP, I would absolutely give it a try and give it a couple of months. Dr. PRP is the best at giving high quality samples and giving our patients high quality results. As a result of offering PRP to our clients here at Everest Regenerative Medicine, I have noticed that we have had more combined natural treatments as we offer a lot of different treatments, but that we are able to combine it with PRP, especially Dr. PRP and make the results that much more better compared to what they were before.
