The interview

What was your experience attending the networking event hosted by Chris Swartz?

It was great information from Chris and bouncing ideas off of other agents that you might not really get a chance to work with. It was a very good experience. I brought one of my listings that had been sitting and was priced high. The feedback was wonderful for me to share with the sellers and they agreed; we did a price reduction and we got it sold.

How did this networking format compare to traditional real estate caravans?

Back in the day we used to do the caravans and everybody would get together and do lunch and it was very time consuming. This was very concise, a bunch of agents all showcasing their listings and it was about an hour and a half. We left with papers explaining everything, everybody's thoughts on price and condition and suggestions. It was very valuable.

Can you describe the specific listing challenge you solved through Chris's event?

This was a duplex in Northeast Philadelphia and I had just sold one. This second client thought theirs was just as nice as the first one, so it was challenging because it definitely was not apples to apples. Providing the feedback from 15 to 20 other agents made them realize we needed to make a price reduction.

What was the outcome of the client referral you sent to Chris Swartz?

I shared a client with him that was looking to buy a home down the shore. It was very, very competitive, multiple offers. It was one of those deals where it was listed Friday and then all offers due by Monday. His team did a great job getting it closed, we got the deal, we closed fast.

How did your clients feel about the mortgage process with Chris and his team?

My clients, which are also very good friends, said this is the fourth transaction that they've done and it was seamless, it was the easiest one. Chris and his staff just made it a great experience and of course they got the home and they're very, very happy.

It was really nice to have a camaraderie among agents, meet some new faces and just you know have different perspectives on the different areas and things like that, different homes and listings. It's very nice. I'm in my twenty first year of real estate and I kind of know what I'm doing, what works and whatnot, but this was just such a different idea and I was like wow, like getting perspectives from 15 to 20 other agents in an hour and a half and have you know papers in hand to share with my clients, it's great.
