The interview
How has your life changed since working with Dr. Traci?
Since working with Dr. Traci, I have my life back. I am able now to navigate the day and navigate difficult situations. I'm very emotionally grounded and I'm reconnecting with my family in a way that I used to connect with them. I can spend meaningful time with my daughter again and be active together. My business is flowing again, and so I have a healthy income once again.
What was your life like before starting the program?
My life was a mess; I was a wreck. I could barely function in terms of energy, brain capacity, and bandwidth. I had debilitating anxiety to the point where little day-to-day struggles were hard to navigate. To get up and brush my teeth was a chore. I also had really bad brain fog and didn't have the brain capacity to do simple things.
Why did you choose to work with Dr. Traci Potterf?
I had worked with her briefly about 15 years ago. I really have a profound trust for her ability intellectually in terms of facts and research, but also in terms of just humanness. She addresses things from, as she puts it, cell to soul. I don't think I could put it better than that.
Did you have any hesitations or challenges before starting?
If I did have anything preventing me from starting the program, it was a financial situation. I was so sick and missing so much work that finances were of a concern. What helped me overcome that was just simply hitting an absolute rock bottom. I couldn't afford not to do this.
What was the most valuable part of the program for you?
The most valuable thing was being validated. Getting the legitimate test results and giving me solid evidence—reasons why I was feeling the way I was feeling. I was not wrong, I wasn't broken, and there wasn't something faulty with me. It was legitimate physiological things, and that validation felt really good.
What surprised you the most about the experience?
I was very surprised at how quickly I started to see results. Another thing was, as my body started to come into balance, I was just alarmed at how my brain function could come back and how I could start thinking clearly again. That was profound.
What is your advice to someone considering Inner Genius Health?
Please, please take it from me. Don't waste any more time. Spare yourself the guessing games. She provides a level of support that is very unique and she really understands how the body connects to the brain. My biggest regret is waiting longer than I could have. Just go for it. The time, the commitment, and the finances all pay for themselves.
