Individual results vary. This is one customer's first-hand account of their own experience, recorded on camera and published unedited. Adam Gavin of Wasabi Method reports that Mindshare provided a high-ROI environment where sales of their medical devices more than paid for the cost of attendance. Gavin highlighted the quality of the practitioner-only audience, which allowed for technical discussions and resulted in four people experiencing 'tears of joy' during live treatments.

“We've already sold a few units, which is great. We've already paid for—more than paid for—the cost of coming here.”
“Mindshare has been different from most of the conferences we've been to, mainly because of the type of clients that have been here. They're all practitioners.”
“I've had four people cry tears of joy—not tears of pain, just to clarify. Yeah, so that's very... it's very humbling for me.”
The interview
What has your experience been like at the Mindshare venue?
One of the great things about coming to this venue is it's not humongous, so you don't get lost in the mix. Everyone that's at the event has come past our booth. Whether it was first day or today being the last day, inevitably, people came around. It's a tight-knit community so everyone just talks.
How has the networking and word-of-mouth been for your booth?
I help one person and they talk to all their friends while they're having lunch or at another breakout group, and the word just spreads. Everyone's like, 'Oh, everyone told me to come here.' It makes it really easy for me; I don't have to run around and try and get people to come to my booth. It's just organic.
How busy has the booth been during the event?
People just walk up and we've been busy the whole time. We actually have to turn people away because we're so busy. It's a good problem to have.
What is your background and what are you promoting?
My name is Adam Gavin. I am a sports chiropractor and the co-founder of Wasabi Method with Dave Asprey. We just launched in May of 2024 at the Biohacking Conference, and it's been a crazy whirlwind since then, going to conferences all the time.
How does Mindshare compare to other conferences you've attended?
Mindshare has been different from most of the conferences we've been to, mainly because of the type of clients that have been here. They're all practitioners, so it's really fun for me to speak my language. I don't have to use layman terms. I can talk 'technical' with people, and they get it, and they really find it fascinating.
What specific business results have you seen so far?
We've already sold a few units, which is great. We've already paid for—more than paid for—the cost of coming here. We have a lot of great connections, people that are going to become affiliates.
Can you share any impact stories from treating people at the event?
I had some people I was able to treat that I had significant changes in. I've had four people cry tears of joy—not tears of pain, just to clarify. It's very humbling for me to be able to help people and make these types of changes.
What sets your company apart in terms of customer support?
No other companies that sell these devices will do what we do. They're not hands-on. I will actually speak to you. I do onboarding with the people that buy the devices. Like, we had two today that bought them; I told them they each get an hour with me when they bring it back home, via Zoom. We go the extra mile for people.
Frequently asked
Is the Mindshare event venue too large for effective networking?
According to Adam Gavin, the venue size is ideal because it is not 'humongous,' ensuring that every attendee eventually visits the booths and word-of-mouth spreads organically through the tight-knit community.
Can exhibitors expect a positive ROI at Mindshare?
Yes, Adam Gavin stated that Wasabi Method sold multiple units during the event, which more than paid for the total cost of attending and exhibiting.
How does Mindshare differ from other health conferences?
Adam Gavin noted that Mindshare is unique because the attendees are all practitioners, allowing him to speak in technical terms rather than layman's terms, which leads to more fascinating and productive conversations.
