The interview
Who are you and what is your vision for the health industry?
I'm Jen Holub Tripp and I am a marketing strategist. My vision for the health industry is that it's an industry of ease and wellness and no longer disease and sickness. That we all really collaborate and come together and that it's preventative and wellness care versus sick care.
How do you see your role in helping health practices?
I see myself as helping practices grow and really knowing their value and getting their businesses really out there with their name and what they do and how they can help the masses. Really connecting and bringing those all together so it's no longer these little fragments and people not knowing really where they can go for a whole wellness journey.
What has been your experience at this retreat/conference?
A lot of it's been transformational, right? I really kind of consider this ceremonial, this whole retreat on the things and what people are doing and really just invigorating and being the change agents of the world. So, all of it has just been really, really inspiring, exciting and really just honored to be a part of it.
What specific aspects of the functional medicine approach stood out to you?
I mean, really bringing in that whole functional portion of medicine and looking at the full picture. For the most part, people have been looking at symptoms and kind of guessing and playing these trial and errors. And really knowing how these labs and these protocols and these different things can work, will definitely be something that's incorporated.
Who is this conference intended for and how did it affect you personally?
The conference is really for the practitioners and the people who are in the wellness space. The ones that really want to offer more and actually be more. For me, I'm both a patient and a practitioner of wellness. And it really fits both of those things. My eyes are really being open to new ways, change, things that are happening, the movement, how I support the movement.
How will this experience change your professional offering?
How I can bring in these other facets to actually offer a more comprehensive wellness plan and journey.
