The interview

Why should someone attend the Mindshare Summit?

You need to be here because there's a whole bunch of really cool business stuff. But more importantly, the parties are the bomb, and that is the place where you get to let loose, revitalize yourself, and really make those deep connections that are going to allow you to take that next step in your business.

What is your professional background and specialty?

I'm Dr. Tom Moorcroft. I'm an osteopathic physician specializing in recovery from chronic Lyme disease and PANDAS and PANS, and I'm from Park City, Utah.

What are the primary reasons you attend the summit?

One, I get introduced to all the new, latest, greatest approaches to expanding my business and getting my reach out there. But more importantly, it's about the community and the friends. This is the place where I come to recharge as well as to get that new next-level approach to things.

How did you feel when you first started attending Mindshare?

When I came to the Mindshare Summit the first time, I was just walking around going, 'Oh my God, these are all people I see out in the world making a huge difference.' I realized that I wanted to be more like that so I could help more people, but I really was playing small because of the fear of moving forward and jumping out in the world.

How does the Mindshare community support its members?

They take the next step and say, 'and we're here to support you moving forward.' Like JJ always says, 'a rising tide lifts all boats.' You feel supported from the side and underneath and behind, and you feel like you have nowhere to go other than up and really make a huge impact on the entire planet.

Can you share a specific connection or project that resulted from the summit?

Through the connections I've made here, I've done so many things like I've partnered with people like Doctor Darren Engels to do Lyme summits, and we've done all this work that's really made a huge impact on the world.

How has the summit tangibly moved the needle in your business?

I spend less time working in my business and more time working on my business. I can actually let my passions grow rather than just grinding every day. I have a team that can help more and more people and that team continues to grow and I can step back a little and have that bigger vision.

What is the financial impact of stepping back to work on the business vision?

What's the craziest thing from an entrepreneurial perspective is when you do that—you step back into your power and work on the business and you let your creative vision and your passion shine—you actually make more money.

So I think the thing about the mindshare summit is you need to be here because there's a whole bunch of really cool business stuff. But more importantly, the parties are the bomb, and that is the place where you get to let loose, revitalize yourself, and really make those deep connections that are going to allow you to take that next step in your business. Hey, I'm doctor Tom Moorcroft. I'm an osteopathic physician specializing in recovery from chronic Lyme disease and pandas and pans, and I'm from park City, Utah. So it's important for me to attend the mindshare summit. one. I get introduced to all the new, latest, greatest approaches to expanding my business, getting my reach out there so that I can actually get in front of more of the people that I really am here to serve. But I think, more importantly, it's about the community and the friends. We all work so hard. We put so much into everything that we're doing on a day in, day out basis. We need to recharge and really, like, settle in with our family. And this is the place where I come to recharge, as well as to get, like, sort of that new next level approach, um, to things. So, um, when I came to the mindshare summit the first time, I was just walking around going, oh, my God, these are all people I see out in the world making a huge difference. And I realized that, I wanted to be more like that so I could help more people. But I really was playing small, it was kind of like the fear of moving forward and jumping out in the world and really putting yourself on the line to that next level. you think that you really want to have that huge impact in the world, and then you realize what it's really about. And I think the thing about the mindshare summit is not only do they tell you that, yes, you can do it, but also, it's like, that's what you're here to do. but then they take the next step, and they say, and we're here to support you moving forward. And, like, uh, JJ always says, a rising tide lifts all boats. But it's true. It's like you feel supported from the side and underneath and behind, and you feel like you have nowhere to go other than up and really make a huge impact on the entire planet because of the community here at the Mindshare summit. through the connections I've made here, I've done so many things like I've partnered with people like Doctor Darren Engels to do, um, Lyme summits, and we've done all this work that's really made a huge impact on the world. the summit has, uh, moved the needle in my business in so many ways. And I think one of the most tangible ways is I spend less time working in my business and more time working on my business wherever I. I can actually let my passions grow rather than just grinding every day. I have a team that can help more and more people and that team continues to grow and I can step back a little and have that bigger vision, And I think that that's one of the biggest takeaways from the summit, is you can do all of these things and have a great impact and you do all of it through stepping back and maybe doing a little less to achieve more. And what's the craziest thing from an entrepreneurial perspective is when you do that you step back into your power and work on the business and you let your creative vision and your passion shine, you actually make more money. and I can help my own family and feel comfortable so that we're all putting positive energy out in the world.
