The interview

Can you describe your background and early experiences with energy?

I've been an entrepreneur my whole life, since I was 12 years old. I was a driven achiever, running a landscaping company, playing three sports, and maintaining schoolwork. I knew nothing about energy other than getting sleep at night, and I started falling asleep in seventh period because I was tiring out and burning out.

What led you to seek a deeper understanding of energy management?

I kept a super intense schedule through my early 20s, having already bought and sold a gym and opened a chain of gyms by 22. I was having emotional breakdowns and felt like I was having a midlife crisis. Despite eating well and being into fitness, I couldn't answer why I was so tired all the time. I spent 20 years in personal development trying to figure out what was wrong with me.

How did you first encounter NES and Harry Massey?

I was at a conference in Denver, Colorado, and sat next to Harry Massey for three days. After in-depth conversations, he offered me a scan. He sent me a remote scanner and five bottles of Infoceuticals. Reading the accompanying book, I realized I had discovered the real insight around energy that was the culmination of my long journey.

How do you integrate NES into your professional work at the REGENECENTER?

We employ things like whole-body light therapy and infrared saunas to recharge the body battery. But NES allows us to not only recharge but help correct the flow of information to make energy use efficient. The scan provides a wealth of insight to our clients to actually see what's going on in the human biofield.

Can you share a specific success story using the NES system?

A woman who was an attorney and a cancer patient came in absolutely exhausted. For the first time, she started paying attention to her biofield as a master control system. That evidence got her to slow down, make lifestyle changes, and use the Infoceuticals. Her life has been on an upward spiral ever since.

What is your primary tip for managing energy effectively?

Optimize your sleep, as it's the one-third of life on which the other two-thirds depends. However, you must also regularly and proactively recharge your energy during your waking hours. You can't go sixteen hours all-out and expect eight hours of sleep to solve it; you need to systematically manage your energy like battery power in your phone.

Frequently asked

How can I live an ambitious life without trading my health for success?

John Allen Mollenhauer found that the answer lies in managing and restoring energy on a systematic basis. He uses NES to lift the lid on energy mechanics, moving beyond just sleep and nutrition to address the body's master control system.

Is energy management just about getting more sleep?

According to Mollenhauer, while sleep is critical, it is not enough to offset sixteen hours of high-energy expenditure. He advocates for proactively recharging energy during waking hours using tools like NES to ensure the body battery remains powered.

What does a NES scan actually show a user?

Mollenhauer explains that the scan provides a wealth of insight by mapping the human biofield. It transforms energy from an esoteric concept into a visible picture that helps users see how to correct the flow of information in their bodies.

Speaker 0: My name is John Allen Mollenhauer from Performance Life Style Inc, and I'm in Livingston, New Jersey. So I've been an entrepreneur my whole life, actually since I was 12 years old. And, you know, I grew up a driven achiever type, if you will. You know, I was I was running a landscaping company when I was 12 years old. And from the entire time, through my up junior high school, high school, I was mowing probably twenty, thirty lawns a week, playing three sports, captain of those sports, maintaining schoolwork, doing all this, energy output, knew nothing about energy. Zero, other than get sleep at night. And, I started finding myself falling asleep in seventh period and just not having the energy that I wanted. Of course, back then, you know nothing about what any of that means. So, but I all I knew is that I was tiring out and burning out. And I kept this really super intense schedule all the way up through 21, 22 years old. A time period when I had already bought and sold my first gym and opened up a chain of gyms by 22 years old. And I'm feeling like I'm having a midlife crisis while my friends are just getting out of college saying, hey, I think I'll start a business or get a job. And I'm having, like, emotional breakdowns. Now, I've always been a high performance guy. I've always been a very driven guy, a very inquisitive guy, and someone who, you know, drives and and leads. I had been eating extremely well. I got indoctrinated into nutrition very early by some of the most well known people today. I had always been into fitness, but there's one question I could not answer. It was why in the heck am I so tired all the time? And that's what really started my career. And, of course, the energy conversation starts, you know, it starts up here. It starts with, of course, sleep because everybody says just get more sleep. Right? It's the directive. Are you getting eight hours of sleep? But then it turns into, you know, hey, what's wrong with me? So you get into personal development. You go through potentially decades. I went through, you know, at least twenty years of personal development trying to figure out what was wrong with me. Like but I was never really dealing with energy, and that's when I really started to lift the lid. I started developing an idea called performance lifestyle, and eventually it led to lifting the lid on energy. So I wanted to answer this one fundamental How can I live a hard charging ambitious life and not burn out and trade my health for success? And naturally, was gonna lead to answering the question, what is energy and how do I manage it? And how do I restore it on a regular and systematic basis? And that's when I really started to develop a philosophy called performance lifestyle. But the crux of a performance lifestyle is energy. If you're not managing your energy, you'll never live a lifestyle that supports you and what you're up to in the world, my discovery, very well. You could be an expert in nutrition, expert in fitness, know all kinds of, of great knowledge bodies. But if you're tired all the time, which naturally leads to pain, you're gonna distracted and held back. And that's what I did. So as an entrepreneur, I launched what's called a REGENECENTER. It was about regenerating us. And that was really about, lifting the lid on how we can decrease fatigue, increase energy, and get out of pain. And, I did that at the inception of the recovery industry, which launched. And I quickly learned that recovery was less about things like cryotherapy and more about regenerating the energy of the body. So I had already done a lot of work on energy. I understood the the fundamentals of how to manage it. But then I go to this conference in Denver, Colorado, and I sit next to this tall guy. And after three days, I realized it's Harry Massey who founded this company called Ness. And at the very end, after in-depth conversations that were just so intriguing, he sent he said, would you like a scan? We produced this bioenergetic wellness system, and he sent me a remote scanner. And before you know it, I had these five bottles show up, and I got a book with that. I started reading all about it, and I realized, wow. I think I just discovered the real, insight around energy that is the culmination of my long journey. So at our center, we employ things like whole body light therapy and infrared saunas, things that are actually helping to, recharge the body battery. But now actually knowing what it means to not only recharge the body battery, but help correct the flow of information to make the use of that energy efficient, the scan provided a wealth of insight to our clients to be able to actually see what's going on. The, you know, Ness had mapped the the human biofield, so no longer was energy this, esoteric thing you couldn't see or or, you know, like you had no picture for. The number one case study was a woman who came into our office. She was a cancer patient, and this has nothing to do with her cancer. It had to do with the fact that she was absolutely exhausted. She was an attorney and she was all out all the time. And for the first time in her life, she started paying attention to this new idea called a biofield, this master control system that was essentially directing everything. And that was evidence enough to get her to stop, to slow down, to start to make lifestyle changes, to sleep more, to really start to employ a lot of changes in her life. So she got the feedback, started using the infoseuticals, and started to change her lifestyle. And her life has been on nothing but an upward spiral ever since. It's been beautiful to see. So my number one tip is to, yes, absolutely dial in and optimize your sleep. This is the one third of life on which the other two thirds depends. These this is one third of your life that's off the table. It's kind of like your contract with life, and it's there to make your wakeful hour your wakeful hours powerful. The other side to this same tip is that in your waking hours, you've gotta regularly and proactively recharge and manage your energy. This is not something where you go sixteen hours all out during the day and shut down for eight and think the next day is gonna start really well. It's not because you need a buffer period in between. Plus, who spends sixteen hours a day in all out assault of energy expenditure to think that that is going to, get solved in eight solid hours? Now I totally understand two hours of wakefulness for one hour of sleep. That was before the industrial revolution and before the information revolution and before we did more by 10AM than we used to do all day, arguably all week. So you've gotta proactively and regularly, I would say, actually systematically recharge and manage your energy like battery power in your phone. Your body operates on similar properties, and that's what you need to do. So powered by Ness, energy for life is really the ultimate energy management system. It's really helping you recharge. It's helping you restore your energy for life, and it's really getting into the mechanics of how that energy flow can be optimal in your body. It's really the most comprehensive solution available, and that's the reason why it's at the crux of really everything that I do. And I highly recommend it to you.
