What is your professional background and vision for patient care?

My name is Eleina Mikhaylov, I live in Austin, Texas and I'm a neurologist. I see a comprehensive approach at healing, focusing on not just the body but also mind and spirit. I want to see treatment being more focused on preventing the illness and not trying to fix the illness, rather than providing symptomatic relief for an existing disease, trying to actually fix it.

How do you see your role as a provider evolving?

I see myself being a provider, seeing patients, taking their intake, trying to figure out what's going on with their body and mind as well as spirit. I want to hear their journeys to try to figure out what would be the right protocol for that particular client and customizing it, referring them to other specialists that can help them, and implementing a long term protocol for them.

What was your experience attending the Modern Holistic Health conference?

This conference has been so informative. I've learned so many things. I mean, being a traditional medicine practitioner thus far, did not have a lot of knowledge of what the functional medicine looks like, just heard little bits and pieces. But now, getting a lot of information in terms of lab work and how comprehensive it is and they touched on supplements and creating the right protocols for patients.

How has this experience impacted your motivation?

I also found this course very motivating, very inspiring. I feel so much more empowered by this. I feel like now I have a momentum to move forward to transition my practice, traditional practice, into functional. This weekend has been incredible. I'm really, really excited. I feel like finally I can make a difference.

Having this set of collaborators that Eleina put together was incredible. I feel like I have a family and it's nice to have this type of support, navigating through different areas and have guidance from all these incredible entrepreneurs. They're not only very experienced, they have years of experience but they also of high integrity and are passionate about what they do.

My name is Eleina Mikhaylov, I live in Austin, Texas and I'm a neurologist. A comprehensive approach at healing, focusing on not just the body but also mind. And addressing, basically, their overall health. So, I also see medical industry having multidisciplinary practices. Where we can refer patients to other specialties and other clinicians like coaches, to focus on mind and spirit and get them the right lab work and get them the right treatment with supplements. I want to see patients also understanding the program and being committed and definitely want to see results. I want to see treatment being more focused on preventing the illness and not trying to fix the illness. And rather than providing symptomatic relief for an existing disease, trying to actually fix it. I see myself being a provider, seeing patients, taking their intake, trying to figure out what's going on with their body and mind as well as spirit. I want to hear their journeys to try to figure out what would be the right protocol for that particular client and customizing it to a client or a patient. And referring them, you know, offering the services that I, you know, that I'm specializing and referring them to other specialists that can help them. Then seeing them in follow up again and just doing another intake and seeing where we go from there. And implementing a long term protocol for them and getting better and healing them and curing, you know, whatever it is that they're going through. Whatever their body's going through and mind. Basically targeting it at every single angle. This conference has been so informative. I've learned so many things. I mean, being a traditional medicine practitioner thus far, did not have a lot of knowledge of what the functional medicine looks like, just heard little bits and pieces. But now, getting a lot of information, you know, in terms of lab work and how comprehensive it is and they touched on supplements and creating the right protocols for patients based on their lab work and how comprehensive that could be. And how beneficial it is to collaborate with other practitioners to get them the right help to focus on healing mind and spirit. I've gotten a lot of information in terms of the practice of functional medicine but I also found this course very motivating, very inspiring. I feel so much more empowered by this. I feel like now I have a momentum to move forward, you know, to transition my practice, traditional practice, into functional. This weekend has been incredible. I'm really, really excited. I feel like finally I can make a difference. I want to create a practice, a functional neurology practice. And so having this set of collaborators that Eleina put together was incredible. I feel like I have a family and it's nice to have this type of support, navigating through different areas and have guidance from all these incredible entrepreneurs that are collaborating together. This is the right set of collaborators to get knowledge from. They're not only very experienced in what they do, they have years of experience but they also of high integrity.
