The interview

What were your first impressions of Dr. Latib and the practice?

Right off the bat, it was interesting how she was so knowledgeable about so many different factors that could play a part in fertility. Many of them I felt like I was aware of, but clearly not to the extent that I needed to be. She seemed to have a lot of the answers.

What was your situation before starting the program?

My husband and I have two children right now, and prior to that, we had one miscarriage in 2018. Then we had two very smooth, very successful and healthy pregnancies. Last year, we tried three times and it just left us with a lot of questions and a lot of frustration.

How did conventional medical advice compare to this approach?

Any conventional doctor I went to said, 'Oh, we have to put you on birth control,' or 'we have to put you on this pill or that.' And I said, 'No no, that's not the answer. There's something else going on.' I was not comfortable with that.

What were the first steps you took in the Fertility Program?

At the very beginning, they said, 'Well, OK, before we start the program, we'd like you to just go off of all gluten and all dairy and all inflammatory foods.' Within a couple of days, I had so much energy I could barely sleep. I felt so good. And then realized I got a blood test that I had a ton of thyroid antibodies from the gluten.

Did you have any hesitations or skepticism before joining?

My job is to teach people how to eat well. And I was thinking, this is a lot of money to have someone teach me what I teach other people. That was my biggest skepticism. I've had two kids already, I know what pregnancy is about, and I read every health article I can get my hands on. What do they have to teach me that I haven't already learned?

What has been the ultimate result of your time with Reimagined Health?

I am currently 24 weeks and will be due in mid-December. Last year we tried and tried and tried, and it's kind of like a very scary experience when you've experienced a miscarriage in the past year. It feels in the end very good to have some answers and some success also.

Frequently asked

Is the Reimagined Health fertility program worth the cost if I already know about health and nutrition?

Heather Blake initially felt skepticism because her job is to teach others how to eat well. However, she found that the program provided unique knowledge, tools, and a step-by-step process that uncovered specific issues, like thyroid antibodies, which she hadn't identified on her own.

How does Reimagined Health differ from conventional doctors for fertility?

Heather noted that conventional doctors suggested birth control or pills as a solution. In contrast, Reimagined Health focused on the root cause, using dietary changes and personalized data to bring her body into balance naturally.

What kind of support does the Reimagined Health program provide?

Heather highlighted the value of weekly calls and a structured step-by-step approach. She emphasized that the program provides the support and knowledge needed to figure out a patient's unique biological situation.

Heather Blake (00:00) right off the bat, it was interesting how she was so knowledgeable about so many different factors that could play a part in fertility. Many of them I felt like I was aware of, but clearly... not to the extent that I needed to be. she... seemed seemed to have a lot of the answers. So I was just curious, I think it was the curiosity that led me into, "What am I missing? What stones have we not turned over yet?" Hi, my name is Heather Blake, and I am in Greenville, South Carolina. husband and I have two children right now, and prior to that, we had one miscarriage in 2018. And then we had two very smooth, very successful and healthy pregnancies. And we had always said that we wanted a third child. And so kind of where it all started. Last year, we tried three times. it just left us with a lot of questions and a lot of frustration. Any conventional doctor I went to said, "Oh, we have to put you on birth control," or "we have to put you on this pill or that." And I said, "No no, that's not - that's not the answer. There's - there's something else going on. not comfortable with this." starting the Reimagined Health - the Fertility Program. the very beginning, they said, "Well, OK, before we start the program, we'd like you to just go off of all gluten and all dairy and all inflammatory foods." And I said, "Okay, let's see what happens if I go completely completely off the gluten." Within a couple of days, I had so much energy I could barely sleep. I felt so good. And then realized I got a blood test that I had a ton of thyroid antibodies from the gluten. And that was really the first boost that kinda propelled me through the rest of the program. My job is to teach people how to eat well. And I was thinking, this is a lot of money to have someone teach me what I teach other people. That was my biggest skepticism. I was like, "Okay, I've had two kids already. I know what pregnancy is about. I know what to do. I read about every health article I can get my hands on about health and fertility. What do they have to teach me that I haven't already learned?" I needed to spend more time and effort on self care. I really needed to concentrate on diet and my sleep. Devoting that time to the weekly call, and making sure that I was going to get the value out of this program, I needed to spend a little bit more time. So I think that also was a kind of a surprise as well. I am currently 24 weeks and will be due in mid-December. Last year we tried and tried and tried, and it's kind of like a very scary experience when you've experienced a miscarriage in the past year, very tentative. Even still now I'm not completely at ease. I'm always concerned and worried - Did I feel the baby kick today? You - you're always worried about that. It's a lot of fear behind it. But of course, that positive mindset is essential. And I definitely have learned that also. So it's kind of a Catch Your body knows what it needs to do, but sometimes we just need a little bit of help figuring out why it's not able to do that. And working with reimagined health is one way to go step by step by step, and they give you the support and the knowledge and the tools that you need to figure out your very own unique situation. And it's so much better than having to go some alternative route just to figure out what you need to get your body in balance because that's going to put you in balance for the rest of your life give you a healthier, smoother, easier pregnancy, and also for the health of your children in the future, too. It's much easier to get to the root cause than try to work around it artificially somehow. But it feels in the end very good to have some answers and some success also.
