“The business development team with Image One has been off the charts. So immediately, as soon as I signed up I received several appointments a week after week after week.”
“You'll never get support like the support that you get from Image One with any other franchise, I'm convinced of that.”
The interview
What got you excited about becoming an Image One franchise owner?
What got me excited about being an Image One franchise owner was primarily the level of support that they provided. I initially was able to speak with the owner, Tim, and I thought that went really well and I was impressed with his level of commitment to the franchises.
Can you introduce yourself and your business location?
My name is Jason Jones and I'm operating out of the northwest suburbs of Chicago and I've been with Image One for a short period of time approximately seven months now and it's been a good ride so far.
What surprised you most about becoming a franchise owner?
What surprised me most was the level of support that I received as it relates to leads and training. It wasn't just in the beginning; it's been ongoing. I continue to get that training support to enable me to do better.
Why were you drawn to a cleaning franchise specifically?
I've always had a passion for cleaning and this enables me to really do that. I specifically went for corporate cleaning rather than household cleaning because I felt like I could deal with health managers at various businesses really well and be effective with that, and I could also do a lot of my own marketing for and with various companies rather than individual homes.
Why did you choose Image One over other franchise options?
I looked at several franchises but I ended up going with Image One simply based on the level of communication from Image One and the encouragement right out the gate. Once I chose Image One, I never looked back.
How would you describe the training at Image One?
The training at Image One is superb. There's a couple of key individuals there that I really work closely with, Tom and Maggie, and the initial training was thorough, well thought out, and well planned. The continued training is also there; they're always reaching out and offering more and more training with whatever areas I feel like I need more support in.
How do you feel about the financial investment and your return?
The investment in my franchise was sizable but what I found was it was actually very reasonable compared to other industries and other cleaning franchises. The return of my investment took really about five or six months. I'm seven months into it and I'm already seeing profit which is amazing to me; I did not expect that.
How has the business development team supported your growth?
The business development team with Image One has been off the charts. Immediately, as soon as I signed up, I received several appointments a week after week after week. There was a period of time where I was probably going a little too fast and we spoke about that and dialed it back a little bit. Once I felt like I was caught up, I reached back out to them and the leads started coming in just as they were in the beginning.
