The interview

What was your health situation before finding Save My Thyroid?

I'm over 50 and I went to the doctor and got my annual checkup. They identified that I had Graves' disease, which is an autoimmune disease. They gave me four options: taking a RAI radiation pill, taking a thyroid pill every day with no guarantees, or removing the thyroid, which I definitely didn't like.

Why did you choose to work with Dr. Eric Osansky?

I found him online. He already had Graves' disease, and he was a doctor, and he basically remedied his issue. His education was good; he explained that the thyroid is a symptom and not the root cause. I joined his program back in January 2025.

What did the Save My Thyroid program involve?

We did a little bit of one-on-one and a thorough blood test analysis. He recommended certain natural supplements and gave me a diet called a Level 3 protocol diet, which was one of the highest. He has a great team, including a dietitian and someone for supplements, who were very educated and answered every question.

What were the results of following the protocol?

Fast forward five months, I did go get tested again for my T3 and my T4, and I was within normal range. I was actually shocked. I was just hoping to go in the right direction, but now I'm in what's called a reintroduction of foods after eliminating them for five months.

How do you feel now compared to when you started?

I feel great. I look great. I lost some pounds where I wanted to lose them, but I'm healthy and that's the whole point. I felt a lot better after two months. If you have Graves' disease or hyperthyroid and don't like traditional recommendations, try them out and follow what he's saying.

Frequently asked

What are the alternatives to radioactive iodine or thyroid surgery?

Frank Galluccio sought alternatives to RAI and surgery after being diagnosed with Graves' disease. He chose Save My Thyroid's program, which utilizes blood test analysis, natural supplements, and a specific 'Level 3 protocol' diet to address the root cause of the autoimmune condition.

How long does it take to see results with a natural thyroid protocol?

Frank Galluccio reported feeling 'a lot better' after just two months on the program. By the five-month mark, his follow-up blood tests confirmed that his T3 and T4 levels had returned to the normal range.

Is the Save My Thyroid diet difficult to follow?

Frank acknowledged that the protocol can be hard for some because it requires eliminating many foods. However, he enjoyed the diet because it focused on meat and vegetables, and he found the results worth the effort.

It's not typical for everyone, but I was exercising hard. I was actually shocked. I was just hoping to get into going in the right direction with my T3 and T4 going lower, but now I'm in what's called a reintroduction of foods. So I eliminated a lot of foods for the five months. So now we're just introducing foods slowly to see how gut reacts. And I feel a lot better. I felt a lot better after two months. Frank Galluccio (02:33) If you have a Graves' disease or hyperthyroid, and you don't like what the doctors - the traditional doctors recommend, try them out, listen to him. Follow what he's saying. I know sometimes for some people, it may be hard on the protocol he gives you on what food to stay away - because we're just used to that, right? But again, I enjoyed the protocol because I enjoy eating a lot of meat and - and vegetables, There was some things taken away, but that was okay for what I was aiming for. And this is what I was aiming for - was better results on my T3 and T4.
