The interview
Can you introduce yourself and your business?
Hello, my name is Justin Robbins. I am an owner-operator of a single trucking business. I'm located in West Richland of Tri-Cities, Washington.
What were you looking for when you first started your business?
Really I was looking for a shop that would service my truck when I first started my business. I had a 2003 Kenworth, and there's not a lot of shops that work on trucks that old, and WorkForce was able to get me in right away.
How did WorkForce Services impact your first few months of operation?
They pretty much kept me in business the first 6 months with the stuff that I needed done to my truck.
How did they handle your specific repair and compliance needs?
When I first came in they took steps to find the parts that I needed to get my truck DOT compliant so I could do loads and start making money. They sought the best prices for me, and then they installed the parts very, very quick, and had me on the road so I could be out doing what I needed to do.
How would you describe their communication and professionalism?
They were very punctual. Whenever I had a question they got back to me right away. Other shops I've experienced, they'll let me kinda sit around and get around to it when they get around to it. That's not the way they work at WorkForce. Their shop's always clean, always very presentable and professional.
What are the top two things WorkForce Services is best at?
They are the best at #1 - communicating. #2 - I would say they're also best at getting the job done right the first time, and not having to come back in and refix the same problem.
