The interview

What would you say to someone on the fence about joining the program?

If you're on the fence about whether you should come to The Brain Regeneration Camp or not, start out with the first part of the program and I think you'll be convinced that what they have to offer is only going to help. There's so much hope that I've gotten and other people have gotten from just being a part of this camp.

What was your situation like before working with Dr. Eckel?

Before working with Dr. Eckel, I felt like I was trying to find the right resources to help me and going all different directions. Parkinson's can be kind of daunting and I needed that extra energy to move forwards. I have tried different doctors, medications, and I still have my primary care and a neurologist, but the expectation there is that symptoms are only going to get worse.

What specific parts of the program have you found most valuable?

I've been working on nutrition, which I've gotten a lot of information on from Dr. Eckel and his staff during consults and coaching sessions. I found the coaching sessions that are online to be really invaluable; that's with nutrition and mindset and movement, basically.

What were your expectations coming into the camp, and were they met?

I expected to get a boost of energy to move through and I wanted to improve my health. A lot of that has happened. I've seen a big difference over the last just few days and feeling my energy start to pick up. Coming into the program has exceeded the expectations that I had.

What surprised you most about working with the team at bVital?

What surprised me about working with Dr. Eckel is his genuineness. He and the rest of the group really care about what they're doing. You don't always get that in programs. They take the time to help and the community has been super supportive, super loving, and super accommodating.

Frequently asked

Is the cost of bVital's Brain Regeneration Camp worth it?

Suzi Elton and her husband discussed the cost at length and decided that because it concerned her health, it was worth the investment. She emphasized the importance of taking action sooner rather than later to gain momentum against her symptoms.

How does bVital differ from traditional neurology appointments?

Suzi found that traditional appointments often came with the expectation that symptoms would only get worse and require more medication. At bVital, she experienced a shift toward improving health, gaining energy, and feeling supported by a community that treats patients like family.

What can I expect from the bVital coaching sessions?

Suzi described the online coaching sessions as invaluable, specifically highlighting their focus on nutrition, mindset, and movement. These sessions helped her develop a routine to counter her Parkinson's symptoms.

If you're on the fence about whether you should come to The Brain Regeneration Camp or not, start out with the first part of the program and I think you'll be convinced that what they have to offer is only going to help. And There's so much hope that I've gotten and other people have gotten from just being a part of this camp. Being surrounded by people that will be there and be able to support you, me, going forward. I'm Suzi Elton. I'm from the Dalles, Oregon in the Columbia Gorge and I am a psychologist for a living. Well, before working with Dr. Eckel, I felt like I was, kind of, trying to find the right resources to help me and, kind of, going all different directions. And then I listened to what he had to offer and then also what other people had said about the program and - I don't know, it just resonated with me that I needed something to give me - to give me the momentum, to push me forwards. Because Parkinson's can be kind of daunting and I needed that extra energy to kind of move forwards. I've tried to develop a routine for myself that kind of keeps me - what I know I need, to counter the symptoms. Like the exercise program, I've been working on nutrition. Which also I've gotten a lot of that information from Dr. Eckel, his group, his staff, on the consults or the coaching sessions. I found the coaching sessions that are online to be really invaluable. That's with nutrition and mindset and movement, basically. So, I have tried different doctors. I've tried medications. I still have my primary care and a neurologist but it's really difficult because what I've gotten from all of this is, you kind of, like, go from appointment to appointment and the expectation is that the symptoms are only going to get worse. You're going to need more medication. And that just doesn't serve me well. I don't like that for my life. So, that is where I was before I came here. Well, I expected to get a boost. Give me this boost of energy to move through. My expectations also are about improving health. Hopefully, I wanted to get my energy back and really, a lot of that has happened. I mean, I've seen a big difference over the last just few days and feeling my energy start to pick up. A lot of that is the activities and the things that we do here, have been very motivating. The people are very motivating and I feel very good because I'm connected with the community. Kind of, is like a family. Coming into the program, basically, has exceeded the expectations that I had. Didn't know what to expect but exceeded expectations. Cost is definitely a piece of it. My husband and I talked that over in length and decided well, if it's health, it's worth it. We'll do whatever we can. But I knew I needed to do it sooner than later. What surprised me about working with Dr. Eckel is his genuineness. And that he and the rest of the group really care about what they're doing. You don't always get that in programs They take the time to help and they have a lot to do so I feel good about that. The community has been super supportive, super loving, super accommodating. They go way beyond. Whatever you need, they try to accommodate.
