Can you introduce yourself and your business?

Remington Riccolo, owner of Ace Handyman Services Illinois Valley and Ace Handyman Services Oak Park-River Forest. We serve homeowners, businesses, really anybody that needs any sort of work done. I like to tell folks we do anything from hanging pictures to remodeling a kitchen and everything in between.

What was your goal in starting this business?

My goal of starting this was to help homeowners and businesses just with getting—giving them good service, honest service.

Why was it important to implement HR systems now?

We really need to make sure we have systems and processes in place as we grow, because if we don't have them in now, if we get... it's gonna be too late if we get to fifteen, twenty, thirty employees, and we don't have those systems already in place and all the kinks worked out.

What were your biggest HR challenges before working with Insperity?

Before working with Insperity, one of our biggest challenges was maintaining and keeping records of all employee data.

Big thing that stood out from Insperity was we can preload all of your handbook, your credit card policies, your, you know, disciplinary policies, everything into one thing. And as they, you know, that's all on the, the potential employee. It's not on me to have to chase them down for things like it's like, 'Nope, if they don't complete this, like, they're not onboarded,' and it's just boom, boom, boom. I just go in, verify it, and they're good to go.

How would you describe the platform's ease of use?

Once I started with Insperity, I feel like the most important thing would be just the ease of operations. It's a lovely platform. It's super simple to get folks onboarded. It's super simple to pull reports, to, you know, look at past data. Everything is very intuitive on the platform, and that is huge for me.
