The interview
What was your situation before joining the Perfect Practice Mentorship?
I was operating as a chiropractor in a wellness clinic where I would see patients one on one. I was very happy and comfortable in that setting, but I had absolutely no digital outreach. During the pandemic, I realized that as much as I love chiropractic, there is a possibility of my primary revenue stream getting shut down.
What specifically attracted you to the Perfect Practice program?
When I first heard about Perfect Practice, it seemed like the perfect answer to my prayers. The idea of being able to reach people in a group setting really spoke to me. It put everything together to have a digital approach and be able to help more than one person at a time.
How has the program changed your practice and patient interactions?
I've been able to change the way that I interact with my patients, both in my chiropractic brick and mortar office and the way that I reach clients online. In the brick and mortar, I have a whole new skill set to offer. Online, I've been able to reach out to people that I don't necessarily have a relationship with already and expand the ways I can help.
What were some of the most surprising or impactful parts of the curriculum?
One thing that surprised me is the amount of conscientious effort they put into personal development. One of the first things I learned was feng shui—cleaning up my desk and facing the door so energy comes to you. Most impactful was the breathing and meditation combination where we were able to get guidance on healing deep traumas in myself.
How has the mentorship impacted your clinical results with patients?
I was able to tell patients that the weight on their body looks like they are harboring inflammation, which leads to chronic pain. By having the tools from Perfect Practice, I get to see things like people losing 40 pounds in ten weeks and having their blood pressure go from the 150s down to the 120s.
What has been the financial impact of joining the mentorship?
An incredible benefit has been increased revenue. When I first started out, I thought I would charge $599 for my program. Pretty soon I realized I was offering more value and raised it to $1499, then to $3000. Now, I have people signing up for my Legacy program at $5000 regularly. That blew my mind!
Frequently asked

Can functional medicine tools improve patient outcomes in a brick-and-mortar clinic?
Yes, Brett Davis used the tools from the mentorship to address chronic back pain through inflammation management rather than just weight loss. This approach led to clients losing 40 pounds in ten weeks and significantly improving their blood pressure.
Is personal development part of the Perfect Practice Mentorship?
Brett Davis was surprised by the focus on personal development, including feng shui for office energy and breathing/meditation techniques. He noted that these practices helped him heal deep personal traumas and show up as an improved version of himself.
