The interview
How long have you been using Paperless Pipeline and what is your overall impression?
I've been using Paperless about four years and to tell you the truth I don't really remember life before Paperless. It's efficient, it's easy to use and their customer service is the best on the planet.
How would you describe the customer support experience?
I call them all the time they always answer, I email them they get back to me, they're very efficient in their process to assist me so I haven't really had any trouble with Paperless because they have such a great support mechanism.
What business factors led you to choose this software for your brokerage?
Everything you look at these days in the brokerage is how to save a few dollars here and there so to have cost-effectiveness and have an efficient system with customer service was kind of a no-brainer. It's easy software to use.
How has your use of the software evolved with recent industry changes?
What's changing in Paperless for me with the new buyer-broker discussion in real estate—as an example now, when one of our agents gets a buyer-broker signed I start a file for that and I didn't used to do that with Paperless, I only put in the transactions. So now I'm using the Paperless more as much as a managing tool as I am a tool for the transactions.
What is the biggest benefit you've seen from this new way of managing files?
I never used to hang on to files like that, I let the agent hang on to file. Now I'm watching those files that's probably the biggest difference that I see in Paperless and that's helped me save immense time and keep a little better pulse on what's going on in the brokerage not only the deals in escrow but maybe a feel of how many might be coming.
What was your experience like when you first started using the system?
We were probably four weeks away from opening our company when I started setting up how we were going to use it and what we were going to do with it and I just got on it and started playing around with it, made mistakes from it, I called customer service 100 times in the beginning on the phone. They would talk to me right on the phone when we first got using it.
