The interview
What health issues were you facing before working with Wendy?
I had digestive issues that I've had for many, many years. I was having chronic headaches, I was dealing with a lot of hormonal issues that were related to perimenopause and overall just wasn't feeling great.
How would you describe your lifestyle prior to the program?
My life was relatively healthy. I worked out quite a bit, I thought I was eating well but I constantly dealt with issues that women my age deal with: perimenopausal hormonal issues and the inability to lose weight. My digestive system was always terrible, so I just started to say, 'this is my life, this is who I am.'
Why did you choose to trust Wendy at Precipice Health?
I have known Wendy for 20 something years and she is an incredibly, incredibly hard worker. She is so diligent about making sure that she solves the problem. I was like, if I'm going to trust anybody to get me healthier it's going to be her because she is not going to rest until she has completely fixed me.
Was there anything that almost stopped you from doing the program?
It was probably the initial work that's involved. There is work, this is not something that can be done without your participation, you have to do the tests. But I really encourage you to get around and do the work because the information that you get on the other side of this is invaluable.
What surprised you most about the experience?
The fact that she is such a part of my daily life that she's consistently checking in on me. She is incredibly involved in this journey with you which to me is such an important part of any journey is having someone there for the accountability and information.
What specific results have you seen after a few months?
I'm now feeling better, sleeping better, my headaches have pretty much left me which is amazing. My digestive issues are so much better. I discovered I had a gluten problem for 45 years that I never addressed, and having just changed that one thing has helped me in so many ways.
Would you recommend this program to others?
I highly recommend Wendy at Precipice Health. She has created a journey for you that is so transformative and informative that I think that it's something that you'll use for the rest of your life. This is not something that you do for six months and then you forget about; it really does impact how you live on a daily basis.
