The interview
What has your experience been like working with Heather Aardema?
I really have enjoyed the course that I've had with Heather because it's so valuable in helping me to make decisions about my life. With her incredible program and the strategies and the infrastructure she's created, she really has been able to help me with so many aspects of my life, decluttering my mind, my body, my home, my habits.
What was your internal state before joining the program?
Before working with Heather, the thoughts that I would often have regarding my life would be to feel some helplessness regarding my relationships or situations that came out of the blue at me. I have began to see that I can actually work with my mind, which Heather calls decluttering my mind.
How has your perspective on difficult situations changed?
I can take the situation as more of a neutral situation and sort of say, okay, I can't change that. I can't control that. But I can control my reaction. And I can control how I want to show up in this world with these bombardments of difficult things.
What made you trust Heather as a coach?
What made me trust Heather was something about her energy and her manner. She's so positive and so warm and caring, and she really is all in. She is passionate about her work and she spreads that passion.
Did you have any hesitations or obstacles before signing up?
If there was an obstacle, it would be that I'm very busy and have done a lot of courses, and I need to be very attentive about where I put my attention. Because of that feeling of energy and the attraction to her passion, I made the decision to put my energy here. I'm so glad I did because it really helps me sift through everything else that calls my attention.
What specific parts of the program have been most helpful to you?
The journaling, the experts, the coaching, the webinars, and The Path has been really, really helpful. The community is also very amazing, and it's her interaction with that community that makes it so vibrant.
What would you say to someone who is on the fence about joining?
I would say, this is the one to take. She is such an amazing coach, and she's such an amazing leader and guider and interactor. I've had a lot of other experiences to compare with. She's put a lot of thought into creating different strategies that are very valuable.
