Key Differentiator
Job-specific questions vs generic ballpark questions
The questions were spot-on to everything really tedious to this specific job, which is great.
I think it really helps filter out a lot of the mail-in applicants for easy apply.
The whole process was pretty seamless. I think the thing that was really above and beyond is, I spoke with Benji personally, one-on-one.

The interview

What was your initial experience after applying through LinkedIn?

Everything was real smooth and connected once applying for the task. Communication started right away. I spoke with Charlotte and then from there, they assigned follow-up information and follow-up questions to help start narrowing down the selection for candidates.

How did SeatMatch help align your expectations with the company?

It's great because once you're looking for the right candidate, being able to let them know your expectations and requirements, I think it helps vet yourself as well as the company to make sure they're not investing in someone with the wrong salary.

What was the level of personal support during the process?

The thing that was really above and beyond is, I spoke with Benji personally, one-on-one, a lot and that felt important. I appreciate him giving me his full support to make sure that, if there's anything missing on their end, that he had connected the dots and it was perfect with him.

How did the interview questions compare to standard recruitment?

The questions were spot-on to everything really tedious to this specific job. A lot of the times with similar situations, you run into really generic questions that have really nothing to do with the job. To fill the position with the right person, it does require not just being a great person, but a great employee.

What was the outcome of completing the SeatMatch tasks?

The task was great because I knew I would showcase my benefits over other candidates and I knew once I had completed that, that I would look forward to the following communication. I think they're able to find the employer the right candidate, being myself.

Would you recommend SeatMatch to others?

I've actually recommended a couple of friends of mine that I used to work with that run the HR Department. I think there's opportunities for them, especially with remote positions that they could fill at a quick rate.

It's expensive to hire the right people, but it costs more to hire the wrong ones so I think that it's a good niche to have in the market and when companies invest in the right people, I think they see the results for themselves. Hi, my name is Joseph. I live in South Florida, and I am a purchasing manager. Everything was real smooth and connected once applying for the task. So once you get the job through LinkedIn or however you find it, communication started right away. I spoke with Charlotte And then from there, they assigned, depending on the job you're looking for, followup information, follow-up questions to get the ball rolling to help start narrowing down the selection for candidates. It's great because once you're looking for the right candidate, being able to let them know your expectations and requirements, I think it helps vet yourself as well as the company to make sure they're not investing in someone with the wrong salary, as well as they're looking for people that are within their means. The whole process was pretty seamless. I think the thing that was really above and beyond is, I spoke with Benji personally, one-on-one, a lot and that felt important. Just as, you know, it is a tedious and time-consuming task. So I appreciate him giving me his full support to make sure that, if there's anything missing on their end, that he had connected the dots and it was perfect with him. He kind of just guided the way once we got towards the final steps. The questions were spot-on to everything really tedious to this specific job, which is great. So a lot of the times with similar situations, you run into really generic questions, or even just when you go into a standard interview, they give you those six or seven ballpark questions that have really nothing to do with the job, more of just you, yourself which— It can be helpful, but to fill the position with the right person, it does require not just being a great person, but a great employee. The task was great because I knew I would showcase my benefits over other candidates and I knew once I had completed that, that I would look forward to the following communication. I think they're able to find the employer the right candidate, being myself, as well as other employees that have been hired by the same company. I think it really helps filter out a lot of the mail-in applicants for easy apply. I've actually recommended a a couple of friends of mine that I used to work with that run the HR Department. Looking into it as, you know, there's opportunities for them, especially with remote positions that I think they could fill at a quick rate and finding the right candidate versus just local presence or, individually listing job applications online and running through the whole windmill.
